Testing the spirits in the first half of 1 John 4 reveals if the spirit is from God or is the spirit of antichrist. The test of our spirit is this: if one abides in God then His Spirit abides in that person.
*Matthew 5:48 in the KJV reads: Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. When I tried to turn to that passage I was looking at chapter 4 for verse 48. My notes were right but I panicked when I thought they were wrong. Stay humble.
